ON SET DIGITAL LAB & COLOR MANAGEMENT
We design workflow solutions tailored to the specific needs of each project, transforming data storage and management processes into a functional solution that provides the necessary time control and functionality for a more cost-effective execution, ensuring simplicity and ease in data handling.
The first step in on-set color management involves using primary colors to visualize and evaluate captured material. We manage all material captured on set from the first day of filming, facilitating equipment, software, and storage for all files generated during filming, while also creating backups of the captured material.
CONFORMING
2.35 Digital boasts extensive experience in conforming any format, frame rate, aspect ratio, including preparing archival material for color correction. This process encompasses initial quality control (QC), exporting shots for composition and VFX work.
COLOR GRADING
We treat source material to maximize color depth, preserving all information obtained in its capture. We contribute conceptually to the film's look, going beyond purely technical considerations, creating atmospheres that enhance the cinematography of the story.
We work with various formats and resolutions, applying all our knowledge and experience in color science, creatively leveraging the advantages provided by new market technologies.
In our facilities, we have all the necessary technical resources to perform color correction in HDR 10, Dolby Vision, and 4K Projection, meeting the standards required by distributors, exhibitors, film festivals, and platforms.
FINISHING
We finalize the project, integrating images and effects, reducing noise, using tools for image treatment with noise issues, compression, and grain according to each project's requirements. We employ techniques to achieve high standards, without neglecting the importance of aesthetics and creativity.
We prepare the material for broadcasting, transmission, or screening in cinemas. We conduct quality control for final image review in HDR, SDR with 5.1 Surround Sound and Stereo.
DIGITAL LAB
We generate deliverables for digital platforms, open television, and regional channels. We create DCDM and multi-copying in DCP for screening in cinemas. Centralized storage, cloud backups, and/or LTO 6.0 and 8.0 generation.
We prepare legal deposits for the preservation of cultural heritage for delivery to Film Heritage and the National Library. We generate the DCP QC report required for the legalization of incentives from the Cinematographic Development Fund (FDC).
